This kit includes the parts needed to delete AFM/DOD (Active Fuel Management) from a non-VVT 5.3L engine. If your engine is equipped with VVT, we can provide a non-VVT front timing cover for an addtional cost. Contact us if you are unsure whether your engine has VVT.

-LS7 style lifters with plastic trays
-MLS head gaskets set

–GM 3 bolt camshaft gear
–GM non-afm valley plate
Note: Tuning is required.
BTR truck cams were designed with low lift so GM LS2, LS3 and LS6 springs and pushrods can be used, making these the most affordable truck cams available.
The Stg I cam is our entry level cam for use in pratically any LS engine where great low speed torque is desired. With it’s narrower LSA, this cam will make more low end torque than a production LS6 cam will.
This is a step-up from the LM7 stock cam.
Recommended for trucks used for towing and wanting for torque over stock.
