This kit includes everything needed to delete AFM/DOD (Active Fuel Management) from 2006-2009 GM Gen IV 5.3L engines. This kit will work with 2010-later engines, with the use of an LS2 style front cover (VVT Deletion). We recommend upgrading valve springs with the addition of a performance camshaft. Our .560″ lift beehive valve springs pair nicely with these cams.

Looking to add a little performance and keep stock driving characteristics; works with stock converter.
Stage 2: Dur. @ .050 212-218 | Lift .553″/.553″ | LSA 111
This grind keeps stock driving characteristics and adds more torque for hauling; works with stock converter.
Stage 3: Dur. @ .050 218/224 | Lift .553″/.553″ | LSA 110
Adds more horsepower while sacrificing some low end torque; Noticeable idle; slightly bigger converter recommended.
Stage 4: Dur. @ .050 224/230 | Lift .553″/.553″ | LSA 109
For the most upper maximum peak hp; not for towing; has very noticeable lopey idle; bigger converter required.
Note: Custom computer tuning required for performance camshafts. Manufacturer warranty on Chevrolet 12499225 & Comp Cams 850-16 only. Other brand lifters do not come with a manufacturer warranty.
